he Lake Washington East Chapter is a vibrant, positive group of career-minded administrative professionals dedicated to helping those in our profession improve their career life. We provide many opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. Our high standards for excellence is maintained through communication and commitment.

We meet once a month on the third Wednesday of each month, September through April  (except December). Our dinner meeting features a speaker of topical interest for administrative professionals and a tasty buffet meal.  Our programs for the year are sure to capture your interests.  Be sure to join us this year as we wrap up our regular monthly chapter meetings before embarking on the new journey planned for us by IAAP HQ.

CHAPTER MEETING

Transition Skills for Administrative Professionals

Presented by Jean Oplinger, MCC MPBS

 

Jean Oplinger works as an Executive Coach for businesses and trains to improve the effectiveness and performance of your people and organization.

 

During our one hour group session she will be working with us on ways for us to develop transitional skills to:

 

Improve effective communication

Team building now and during transitions

Group Problem solving

Leadership roles 

Resolving conflict techniques

 

 

This is an interactive program and our attendees will be able to use this program to enhance their jobs.

 

Jean will help us to focus on the challenges administrative professionals face now. She will help us develop steps to achieve our professional goals. Work environments are more complex and rapidly changing than ever before and she will help us identify key steps to succeed going forward in our careers.

 

Jean Oplinger works as an Executive Coach for businesses and trains to improve the effectiveness and performance of your people and organization.

Jean Oplinger, MCC MPBS has over two decades of organizational and leadership development in her work as a Master Certified Coach, Master Personal Brand Strategist and Senior Insights Facilitator. She has worked with such clients as Microsoft, Nike, Nissan, Washington Trust Bank, AbbVie, LinkedIn, Google, Edmonton International Airport, Vancity, Allyis, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Jean Oplinger has worked with Lake Washington East in the past at our Leadership Workshops and was our keynote speaker for two years. She is the principal of Visions in Actions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations and is a Certified Integral Coach from ICF approved, New Ventures West.
