he Lake Washington East Chapter is a vibrant, positive group of career-minded administrative professionals dedicated to helping those in our profession improve their career life. We provide many opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. Our high standards for excellence is maintained through communication and commitment.

We meet once a month on the third Wednesday of each month, September through April  (except December). Our dinner meeting features a speaker of topical interest for administrative professionals and a tasty buffet meal.  Our programs for the year are sure to capture your interests.  Be sure to join us this year as we wrap up our regular monthly chapter meetings before embarking on the new journey planned for us by IAAP HQ. 

Join us to begin receiving the many benefits of IAAP!   We will help direct you to the achievement credentials of being a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP).  Please be sure to see the article here for information about our meeting and how to sign up to attend. is the easy and powerful way to remember everything, from lifelong memories and vital information to daily reminders and to-do lists.

Everything you store in your Evernote account is automatically synced across all of your devices, making it easy to capture, browse, search and edit your notes everywhere you have Evernote, including smartphones, tablets, computers and on the Web.

This guide will introduce you to the basics of using Evernote, including how to create, organize, sync, search and share notes.

About Ann Piraino, CAP

Ann joined NSA (National Secretaries Association International) in 1975.  She achieved CPS rating in 1978 on 2nd attempt back when they did shorthand and typed the in-basket exercise with carbons!  She served as officer, committee chairs and parliamentary advisor in several chapters and was the WA/AK Division Secretary of the Year in 1980 (NSA). She served as Washington-Alaska Division President-Elect and President. 

 

She received a BA in Secondary Education/Major in English; MA/Applied Behavioral Science; held Project Management Professional rating and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor rating for several years each.

 

Ann rejoined Toastmasters in 2013 and achieved new Competent Communicator, Advanced Communicator Bronze, Competent Leader and Advanced Leader Bronze; on path to achieve Distinguished Toastmaster rating by mid-2015..
