The Lake Washington East Chapter is a vibrant, positive group of career-minded administrative professionals dedicated to helping those in our profession improve their career life. We provide many opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. Our high standards for excellence is maintained through communication and commitment.

We meet once a month on the third Wednesday of each month, September through June at the Hyatt house in Bellevue. Our dinner meeting features a speaker of topical interest for administrative professionals and a tasty buffet meal. Our programs for the year are sure to capture your interests. Join us to begin receiving the many benefits of IAAP! We will help direct you to the achievement credentials of being a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP). "Business Solutions for Greater Productivity"

Pete Bradshaw is Account Manager for Avery Dennison and resides in Olympia, WA. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Business/Finance degree. Mr. Bradshaw has worked with Avery for 12 years. As an Avery Account Manager, he is responsible for the marketing and distribution of Avery products in the states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. Mr. Bradshaw also provides training and education to a wide variety of businesses and organizations which use Avery products. His seminars feature ways to enhance effectiveness in the office using current on-line tools and Avery products.

What’s new at Avery products? We welcome our June speaker as the local representative from the Avery Company. This has always been one of our most fun and highly attended meetings as we see new products and learn new inventive solutions to the everyday work problems. There are always “goodie” packets of new Avery products for everyone who attends. We need 25 people there so now is the time to attend a meeting. This is a challenge for those of you sitting on the fence thinking about attending. The Avery meetings qualify for a recertification point as they are one of the IAAP corporate partners and sponsors.

WA-AK Division Annual Meeting

This year's Division Annual Meeting was held on May 17-19, 2013. Lake Washington East chaired the auction which brought in over $3,000. Awards were presented during the Saturday evening banquet.
